The most striking feature of the Ranger series is the absence of a classic centre column construction. This not only reduces the weight, but also makes the tripod significantly narrower and increases stability. Additional threads on the tripod shoulder allow the mounting of additional accessories, such as an industrial arm.

The tripod legs can be adjusted to three different angles: 23°, 55° and 85° for the lowest possible shooting position. The semi-automatic mechanism ensures that the tripod locks securely into the next angle stop. The twist locks guarantee quick adjustment of the leg extensions.

100% carbon
All Leofoto carbon tripod legs are made of 10-layer carbon material. This promises high stability with low weight and, in addition, high corrosion resistance.

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
