The Leofoto CF-01 lens base is an improved version of the tripod collar for the Canon 200 ~ 400, Canon 300 / 2.8, Canon400 / 4 and the Canon 500/4 lens. The base is made of robust and strong aluminum and is Arca-Swiss compatible. With this foot it is no longer necessary to place a quick release plate under the tripod clamp

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
