Leofoto carbon tripods from the Urban series are lightweight, sturdy and suitable for almost any shooting situation. They are intuitive and easy to use. Thanks to the 180° foldable tripod legs, the transport size is particularly small: you get a high-quality tripod that is easy to transport!

The non-slip rubber twist locks make it quick and easy to loosen and secure each individual leg segment. The leg segments glide smoothly without twisting in the slightest.

One of the three upper leg segments is softly coated. This is not only ergonomic, but can also relieve strain on the shoulder when carrying the tripod with the camera attached over the shoulder to the next shooting location.

In addition, they are very flexible in height thanks to several leg extensions, the interchangeable centre column and a high, variably adjustable spread angle. A special hook allows a weight, such as a rucksack, to be attached to increase stability.

The tripod legs are equipped with rubber feet with metal kern, which can be replaced by spikes. These pointed metal feet are included in the scope of delivery. This allows you to adapt the tripod to the respective application.

The legs of this tripod are made of 10 layers of carbon fibre. The special diamond-shaped winding of these layers provides additional stability and vibration damping with the lowest possible weight!

The XB-38 ball head can carry up to 20 kilograms. This high load capacity is achieved by a 38-millimetre diameter ball. This ball is manufactured with an accuracy of 0.01 millimetres. This accuracy, combined with the friction adjustment, ensures precise alignment of your camera or optical instrument, even with heavy weights. The ballhead itself, made of aluminium, weighs only 368 grams.

The ballhead is supplied with the BPL-50 quick release plate in accordance with the Arca-Swiss standard. This allows cameras or spotting scopes to be attached via the 1/4″ photo thread.
