Robust Poseidon series

The LP-284C, from the Poseidon series by Leofoto, features a number of unique properties which protect against corrosion when used in wet conditions. Those parts of the tripod legs and rubber feet which may regularly come into contact with water are made of titanium. Titanium is known for giving good protection against corrosion – even in seawater. In addition, the legs are waterproof thanks to the new TwistLock locking system. By keeping water, sand, or fine gravel out of the locking mechanism, the tripod will always remain in top condition, which in turn ensures that it is low-maintenance.

The LP-324C carbon tripod from Leofoto is part of the Poseidon tripod series. The tripods in this series have unique features that make them ideal for frequent use on the coast or in riverbeds. The LP-324C has four leg sections and reaches a maximum working height of 139.5 cm. The minimum working height of this tripod is only 16.5 cm, which is great for working close to the ground. Despite its low weight of only 1.95 kilograms, it has a load capacity of 15 kilograms. The LP-324C tripod comes with an LH-40 ball head and several useful accessories.

100% carbon
All Leofoto carbon tripod legs are made of 10-layer carbon material. This promises high stability with low weight and, in addition, high corrosion resistance.

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
