Leofoto developed the Summit series to carry heavier cameras and lenses securely. And the LM-402C is the one with the greatest load capacity of the strong tripods in this series. Its leg segments are particularly thick so that this model can easily carry camera equipment weighing up to 50 kg. The tripod is supplied without an extendable center column – a prerequisite for being able to reach the minimum working height of only 80 mm.

100% carbon
All Leofoto carbon tripod legs are made of 10-layer carbon material. This promises high stability with low weight and, in addition, high corrosion resistance.

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
