Leofoto AM-8 Modular Articulated Arm System
With the AM-8, the product developers at Leofoto have probably developed the world’s first modular articulated arm system.

A modular system consisting of a total of 14 different modules that you can combine to find the perfect solution for your needs. We will introduce the individual components to you shortly.

AM-8 Basic Joint “Main Body”
The base housing consists of two plates with two recesses for the joints. These are fitted with textured rubber rings, which ensure fine friction and secure clamping.

The large asymmetrical clamping lever securely connects the two plates and allows for precise adjustment of the clamping force. By lifting the clamping lever, you can rotate it so that it does not interfere with the operation of your equipment and you can tighten and loosen the clamp as required.

For an easy introduction to this modular system, we recommend the AM-8 kit consisting of the AM-8 main body and the AM-8-13 and AM-8-14 components.

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
