Rather inconspicuous and tiny in appearance, the AM-5 is nevertheless an extremely practical tool for attaching smaller accessories to a tripod. Examples include LED lights (Lume Cube), an external microphone or a Smartphone holder. The AM-5 can be angled, making it very easy to position the accessory it is carrying exactly where you want it. It weighs only 290 g and, when folded to its pack size of just 120 mm, it fits into any bag. The extended total length of the AM-5 articulated arm is 200 mm. The AM-5 articulated arm does not look particularly strong, but despite its small size, it has a load capacity of 6 kg.

The AM-5KIT consists of the following components:

• AM-5 articulated arm
• Support plate with 1/4″ threaded screw
• Connecting piece with 1/4″ threaded screw

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
