The ZWO ASI 585MC<\/b> colour camera offers a large sensor with high sensitivity, resolution and frame rate. This makes it ideal for planetary photography<\/b>, as well as for solar and lunar images, and even for capturing deep sky objects.<\/p>\n

The camera is equipped with a modern Sony IMX585 sensor<\/b> and impresses with its high resolution<\/b> (2.9\u00b5m pixels), high frame rate and complete absence of amplifier glow<\/b> (Amp Glow). This makes this camera very interesting not only for planets, the sun and the moon, but also for long exposure photography (deep sky photography). The sensor is large enough for many deep sky objects, even without the use of an additional corrector.<\/p>\n

The most important areas of application for the ASI 585MC are moon and planet photography with high detail resolution<\/b>, sun photography (with a suitable filter!!) with high detail resolution, long exposure of nebulae and galaxies without power-consuming cooling, infrared images to reduce the effects of seeing (resulting in a sharper luminance channel), autoguiding camera (autoguiding connection is available), as well as EAA (electronically assisted astronomy) for planets, the moon and the sun. Thanks to the fine 2.9 \u00b5m pixels<\/i>, you can achieve a very high resolution<\/b> even with an aperture ratio of f\/10 (Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes<\/b>!), which makes the use of barlow lenses unnecessary. Although this camera is uncooled (the sensor heats up during recording), the built-in PCS<\/b> dissipates the heat from the sensor to the outside via a heat conduction pad. This reduces the sensor temperature by up to 15 degrees Celsius compared to cameras without PCS!<\/p>\n
