The ASI 482MC Color offers very high sensitivity<\/b> with a quantum efficiency of 85%<\/b> and a large, modern Sony sensor for all applications in astrophotography.<\/p>\n

The ASI482MC is a state-of-the-art colour camera<\/b> for photographing the Moon and planets. With a pixel size of 5.8 \u00b5m, it is also suitable for telescopes with an aperture ratio of f\/8 or lower, such as long-focus refractors, Maksutov or RC telescopes. This uncooled camera is an excellent entry-level model for astrophotography. The fast yet large sensor delivers good results when photographing star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. These deep sky objects are captured in just a few seconds.<\/p>\n

One advantage of the back-illuminated CMOS sensor is the lower readout noise<\/b> and improved sensitivity. Sony uses STARVIS\u2122 technology<\/b> in the IMX482 sensor, which ensures excellent visibility in low lighting conditions. You can achieve very high light efficiency in astrophotography and high image quality in visible light as well as in the near-infrared range. In combination with the large field of view offered by the large sensor<\/b>, the ASI 482MC is not only ideal for solar, lunar and planetary photography, as well as “Electronically Assisted Astronomy” (EAA), but can also be used as an all-sky camera<\/b> for capturing Milky Way panoramas or for observing weather conditions.<\/p>\n
