Nights are not always as dry and clear as you would like. Optical surfaces such as eyepieces or Schmidt correction plates often fog up and then your observation is over. This can be avoided with Omegon heating strips, which keep the dew away and guarantee you exceptionally clear observation – all night long.

They are extremely practical by simply wrapping them around your telescope or eyepiece before observing. The heating strip fits like a glove and can be fixed in place using the adhesive. It is powered by a USB cable with a voltage of 12V DC. The energy is distributed evenly across the strip, at just 0.2 watts per centimeter. This means that the temperature remains a few degrees above the outside temperature, so there is no longer any chance of dew forming.
