Davis Pro2 Single Spoon Tipping Bucket Rain Collector Assembly (0.2 mm) (7345.147)

The Davis 7345.147 tipping spoon is an incremental improvement for both accuracy and durability over the previous generation Vantage Pro2 rain collector tipping spoon (Davis 7345.444). The tipping spoon assembly is 100% backward compatible with all previous versions of Vantage Pro2 rain collectors.

Calibration Note:

The single tipping spoon theoretically does not need calibration.  It relies upon magnetic attraction to determine the mass required to tip the spoon. The spoon has a calibration screw, but the change in attraction is non linear relative to each turn of the screw. As such each turn or partial turn of the screw may have a different effect on the attractive force.
