The 6832 includes a temperature / humidity sensor and a 24-Hour Fan-Aspirated Radiation Shield.  Humidity Sensor measures relative humidity and air temperature. The solar radiation shield is made of a proprietary plastic designed for high thermal reflectance and low thermal conductivity. The 24-Hour Radiation Shield includes a solar- and battery-powered fan that pulls air up through the shield and over the sensors for highest temperature accuracy.

Perfect for installations where steep temperature gradients are common and where winds are low. If your installation does not have steep temperature gradients or low wind, consider the Temperature/Humidity Sensor with passive radiation shield (#6830).
