With this adapter you can attach your smartphone directly to your SLR camera, in this way the smartphone is aligned with the camera. If you have a planetarium app installed, for example SkyPortal by Celestron, you can display the section of the sky that your camera is pointed at on your smartphone.
The adapter is adjustable and padded to protect the smartphone.
